GlobalAirData for iPhone and iPad
Help and Support
Explore aircraft, connect your receiver, and keep your feeder running.
Explore the aircraft map
Open the Map tab to browse without an account. Select an aircraft for its details and track, or use search to find an aircraft. Map options let you choose layers and display preferences. Coverage depends on available receivers, and observations can be delayed or unavailable.
GlobalAirData is informational only and must not be used for navigation, collision avoidance, flight planning, or other safety-critical decisions. See our data sources and aviation disclaimers.
Sign in or recover access
In Settings, choose Sign In or Create Account. New devices may require a code sent to your email or a code from your authenticator. Check your spam folder if an email code does not arrive. Use Forgot Password in Settings to request a password reset. Passwords must contain 12–128 characters and cannot contain your email username.
For authenticator settings and recovery codes, use Account Security. Support will never ask for your password, verification code, or recovery codes.
Set up and manage a feeder
Feeder features require an account and a compatible GlobalAirData receiver. Follow the receiver setup guide, then use the Feeders tab to connect and claim your device. Allow local-network access when configuring a nearby receiver. If setup cannot connect, confirm that the receiver is powered on and that you are using its setup network.
You can update the feeder name, location, receiver and antenna details in its settings. Precise feeder locations are private to the owner by default. See the frequently asked questions for coverage and receiver guidance.
Manage feeder alerts
Use Settings to choose feeder email and push alerts. iOS notification permission is also needed for push alerts. If you previously declined, enable notifications for GlobalAirData in the iPhone or iPad Settings app. Check the feeder's own alert preferences as well as account-wide settings.
Delete your account
In the app, open Settings, scroll to Account Deletion, and choose Delete Account. Recent identity verification is required; enter your password and, if enabled, an authenticator or recovery code. This permanently deletes your account and associated personal data, releases your feeders, and signs the device out.
Turn off or reset receiver hardware to stop its independent transmissions. See the privacy notice for data retention and backup information.
